Presidential Props!

We the People... hereby elect Jonathon Adler as our favorite Bipartisan designer.

His kitschy homage to our first Commander in Chief puts a little pillow play in the political playground.

Luckily for you, you're  not pressed with the decisions of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. You can however; put in your two cents in any matter you choose by contacting the White House .
Go on, it will make you feel less guilty about the time you'll spend deliberating on the weighty issues of Monday night... Bravo marathon or the Bachelor?

Presidential Props!

Santorini Serene

Color crush...
Turquoise Blue and Chartreuse. No need for a passport. Partner these electric colors and a timeless element of Greek Key design and consider yourself on a tranquil permanent vacation at home.

Don't want to commit to the trend with a rug or furniture piece? Simply trim a bolster pillow or place Greek key coasters on your coffee table for subtle influences.

Green Scene

Vibrant green and magenta are the perfect color combination to wake Lady Winter from her dismal bender!

Just a touch of either color will be certain to usher in the promise of Spring.

Her VIBE. My Budget.

Let's face it, Ms. Wearstler is the go to girl for design. If you are like me, a mere mortal, her pieces are out of grasp at the moment and you may need to covet her work from afar. Consider pieces like these that can easily translate into the same vibe until your mortal hands can touch the sun.

One Great chair, Three points of view

One Great chair, Three points of view
Basics can be far from ,well, basic.
Invest in one or two pieces like a great chair and a sideboard or table.  Think of them as your homes equivalent to your favorite LBD - it can transition with little effort and cost with new accent pieces as your style evolves.
Take a classic tufted white chair that is inherently traditional. Pair with a modern chevron print, sleek white &wood table, and you instantly get a crisp modern appeal.
Or keep it traditional and sweet with just a hint of edginess. Why not accessorise with  a detail that is dainty in disguise...did you notice the skull amidst the bouquet on these playful cups?
For a more masculine motif. Use earthy industrial woods, a more substantial throw, and accessorise with a chic statement piece like this chic candle.
One chair, three looks. Which one is you?
