Well Dressed Wall

Wallpaper; to commit or not to commit...that is the question. Or is it?
Some of you design mavens like to dive in to trends with reckless abandon while others like to dabble a timid toe in the waters before taking your swan dive into the latest trend.

Wallpaper doesn't have to be daunting. You can still have bright color, texture and vibrant patterns without committing to an entire room. Sure, you can elect to cover an entire room or surface, even go as far to think ceilings here if you are up for a challenge and have a brilliant installer!

Alternatively, you could opt to wade into the idea (and budget associated with wallpaper) by adorning the insides of cabinets, shelves, or ornate frames with all the vibrancy, color, or chaotic patterns of your favorite wallpaper, just in a dose that works for you.

Dust off yer' boots and let's head to Warrenton!

March 1st begins the official count down to Antiques Week...Roundtop, Marburger and the quirky likes of Warrenton, Texas! Picker's and the more fancy pants Antique seekers alike will both be delighted in the range of goods to be found. We're talkin' to the moon and back people...I really can't describe the magnitude of this "Flea Market". Fields carpeted with vendors from all over the country displaying Scandinavian antiques, silverware, tandem bikes , old Circus memorabilia, and light fixtures galore - you name it! There won't be much you can't find! You get the point but you won't really get it unless you dust off your boots, roll down the windows, and hit the pavement.

Requirement numero uno (after picking the Road Crew to end all Road Crews ) for any road trip is the play list. With names like Delbert, Guy, and Willie, you won't have to wonder if they are authentic Texas songwriters. Give'm a whirl and I dare ya not to like'm.

Warrenton is at the top of my list when it comes to Antiques Week. I have to confess if you are a true Antiquer you may find it well...."upscale yard sale" at best but I'll challenge ya' in draw if you can find a better experience.

Royers Roundtop Cafe is not to be missed! Bar- B- Q sandwiches and Butterscotch Pie will darn near make you not care if you walk away empty handed from the fields.

Alas, Hodge Podge Couture is all the rage at the ever so popular and growing Junk-O-Rama Prom hosted by the Junk Gypsies! You will see Top Hats, Swashbuckling Pirates, and if you still can't say goodbye to Elvis, well there is a good chance you will see him here too.

Dressing the part is a mandatory pleasure but you get to pick the part...think top hats, neon tutus, holsters, and a layered Prom Dress, with a Johnny Cash belt buckle.... the Texas sky is the limit.

Old friends ,strung lights, great live music, and foam cozies to keep the goodness cold....perfection!

Junk-O-Rama Prom is Thursday March 31, let your soul wander that a way!
